Usage

nyc_boros

A data frame with 5 rows and 6 columns:

boro_code: City borough code. (Numeric)
boro_name: Borough name
geoid: Census county GEOID (state + county FIPS, e.g. "36061" for Manhattan). Character. Use to join county-level Census and ACS tables, such as those in the nycdemog package.
county_name: County_Name County
short_county_name: County_Name
long_county_name: County_Name County, New York

nyc_county is an identical copy of nyc_boros, named for consistency with Census conventions, where the boroughs are counties.
